Collection: Still Life Paintings

I paint still lifes because I love the quiet beauty in everyday things—fruit with imperfect skins, a loaf of bread sliced or torn open, flowers just at their peak. When I arrange these objects, I’m trying to capture a moment of beauty and color. Light, color, and texture do most of the talking; I just follow where they lead.

My goal isn’t perfection. It’s warmth. I want the viewer to feel the softness of a petal, the weight of an orange, the shape of a bottle of olive oil catching the light.
